Antenatal support includes visits to discuss your birth plan and options, coping strategies for labor, early labor projects, and ideas, as well as addressing any fears you may have about birth and pregnancy. You'll receive full on-call support from 38 weeks of your estimated due date (EDD) until the birth of your baby, ensuring continuous support throughout the labor process. Following delivery, we provide immediate postpartum support, which encompasses breastfeeding assistance, infant care, meal preparation, child minding, and light housework as agreed upon. Additionally, nighttime doulaing services are available to further enhance your postpartum experience.
Postpartum support after delivery includes essential services such as breastfeeding support, infant care, meal preparation, child minding, and light housework, as agreed upon. This support can also complement antenatal support and nighttime doulaing for a smoother transition into parenthood.
Overnight care of an infant, which can include nighttime doulaing services, allows parents to take a much-needed break. The specifics of this support, along with antenatal and postpartum support options, will be discussed on a client-by-client basis.
All services listed above are a basic example of my offerings. Everything can be tailored to meet client needs. I can be your birth partner, or I can simply provide a quiet presence, reminding you that you are not alone. This can all be discussed during our initial consultation and antenatal visits, where we can also explore options for postpartum support and nighttime doulaing.
If you need more information about any of the services listed below, please feel free to contact me to discuss them.
